It is Rik's birthday today. (He is one of the new students at the office). So, he brought a box of Bosche bollen for everyone to share. A Bosche bol is about the size of a softball. It is a case of pastry (like that used in a chocolate eclair), filled with whipped cream, and coated in chocolate icing. I find that you have to eat it with a knife and fork, otherwise it is inevitable that you will get icing on your nose and whipped cream on the floor.
If I were organsing, say, a food fight at my birthday party, this would be the ideal piece of food to use as ammunition.
